Nu-Fruits of the Amazon was one of the first Australian importers of the Brazilian power berry Açaí,. Directly from the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil, Nu-Fruits of the Amazon launched the Açaí berry in Pulp Juice Bars with beach babe Annaleise Braakensiek as a spokesperson for the brand.



The Brief

  • Launch the Açaí berry into the Australian market
  • Create buzz around the launch of Açaí in Pulp Juice Bars
  • Promote the health benefits of the Açaí berry


Our Success

WordStorm booked the main stage at Martin Place for the busy lunchtime period and hired Brazilian dancers (complete with feather headdress and costumes) to dance during the two hour period. A promotional team dressed as Tarzan and Jane conducted sampling to the spectators and passers-by and model Annalise Braakensiek signed marketing collateral for the public.
