LugLoc

This brand was sceptical of PR at first but were quickly turned around after seeing a 600% increase in sales as a result of media exposure.

LugLoc is a small thin device that acts as a luggage locator using GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) cellular signals, a state-of-the-art technology, to locate within minutes misplaced baggage in any airport in the world. The location of lost luggage can be viewed through the LugLoc app on a mobile phone. LugLoc also includes a 24/7 customer support service that can work with the airlines on your behalf to recover luggage and have it returned to you.

WordStorm PR pitched the product to key media segments in time for Christmas and the holiday season, when many Australians are travelling. The product was considered a brilliant addition to gift guides and new tech product pages, because of its strong point of difference. Media including The Herald Sun, Woman’s Day, The Sunday Telegraph, The Sun Herald, 2UE, Cosmopolitan Bride, New Idea, Practical Parenting, ABC Radio, The Advertiser, The Australian and Maxim Magazine featured the product. We also arranged a segment on Studio 10 which led to an increase in sales when it when to air in December.

“Our company had never utilised the services of a PR company and were quite sceptical of what could be achieved. After sitting down and talking it through with Monica and her team we gained confidence that our product would be in good hands. On completion of the campaign our sales were up 600% and that was all attributed to the great work from WordStrom. I can highly recommend them!”
