By utilising the real stories of MS Ambassadors, WordStorm PR secured top-tier coverage in all three states hosting the MS Walk & Fun Run.

The MS Walk & Fun Run (MS WFR) is an annual event held by MS Limited to increase awareness and educate the community about MS, as well as raising funds for MS research. In 2018, the focus of the MS WFR was the festival of ‘Health and Wellbeing,’ celebrating people living well with MS, and supporters who live and adopt healthy habits for the cause.

WordStorm PR publicised the MS WFR events across Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne through an integrated campaign targeting traditional media as well as collaborating with a well-known health and fitness influencer.

Strong coverage was secured across all events by using MS ambassador case studies from each state to represent the event and cause in the media. The case studies allowed WordStorm PR to do targeted pitching to top-tier state specific media with strong human interest angles resulting in coverage across outlets such as Nine News Canberra, The Daily Telegraph, Nine Honey, The Sydney Morning Herald, Herald Sun, 3AW, ABC radio and more.

By also collaborating with a popular influencer who represented the MS WFR brand over her social media channels leading up to the events, WordStorm PR was able to achieve strong engagement on social media and a buzz leading up to the events.
