Three weeks into the WOW Sugar-Free Challenge.
How is everyone feeling?
Here at the WordStorm office, we are beaming with energy. Sure, the first week was hard. But as the days go on, you begin to notice how positive and beneficial going sugar-free is on your body and mind. No more headaches or fatigue and instead replaced with a clearer, focused and healthier state of mind.
Taking the first steps can always be the hardest. Start small and work your way up. It can simply be by not adding sugar with your tea or resisting that 3pm biscuit craving. The little things will begin to weigh up.
Some tips to get you through the next couple of weeks:
- Load up on whole foods- whole grains, veggies, and legumes stop cravings in their tracks. It may be hard at first, but you’ll be amazed at how quickly you will start to crave these nutritious (and yummy!) foods.
- Got the afternoon munchies? Don’t give up and let all your hard work go to waste. Simply satisfy those cravings smartly. Have a packet of WOW confectionery with you-in your car, desk or handbag. You never know when those cravings will happen!
- Still not satisfied? Sometimes you just need a chocolate hit. Well Naturally No Added Sugar Chocolate Bars are yum, have 80% less sugar than regular chocolate and are not nearly as bad for you if you need that comforting chocolate hit.
- Finally, with daylight savings starting, our sleeping patterns are all over the place. Studies have shown that the more tired you are, the more likely you are to turn to food. Get you sleep back on track and try to get a well rested 8 hours of sleep each night.
