WordStorm were thrilled to hear our client Kate Weiss took out the Business category at the Audi InStyle Women of Style Awards last night. Kate is the founder of natural health foods Table of Plenty.
Up against other inspiring women in the Business category such as Lorna Jane Clarkson and Diana Williams, we were thrilled to see Kate’s entrepreneurialism recognised for rising through adversity to establish a business and financial safety for her family.
When Kate’s daughter Amy was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, Kate left her corporate job to care for her. Table of Plenty was born shortly after, when Kate realised she wanted to create a future for Amy, as well as be there for other mothers.
Now, Table of Plenty is a million dollar company that gives back to the community both here and abroad thanks to Kate’s philanthropy.
