Home Instead Senior Care
Ongoing PR has built up the franchise’s founder as a thought leader within the aged care industry and led to consistent media coverage month on month.
Home Instead Senior Care is a specialist, national provider of high quality in-home care for older Australians. Home Instead’s CAREGivers help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship. There are currently over 1,000 offices in 16 countries around the globe. In Australia alone, there are 24 franchises and this number is growing.
WordStorm PR has worked on an ongoing basis to secure a wide range of national and metropolitan media coverage for Home Instead Senior Care by coming up with unique story angles and building strong media relationships. We worked on a project for Home Instead to position the team as experts regarding the changes to consumer directed care in Australia. This led to coverage on News.com.au (which was syndicated across the country) and an in-depth story on ABC News nationally. This coverage positioned founder Martin Warner as a strong proponent in bringing about these changes. This was complimented by business press across all Fairfax titles which led to an influx of new franchisee enquiries when it was published.
We have also worked on many awards submissions for the brand’s 25+ franchise offices which are located all across Australia. These award wins have given the brand invaluable credibility and led to further media opportunities.
The Marketing Manager, Lauren, has said that over the years Home Instead struggled to find a PR agency that worked for them and understood their needs and the nuances of the business. One of the TV pieces we secured was played at the Home Instead Senior Care international conference in Omaha and WordStorm’s PR success was used as an example for how offices around the globe should manage their communications.
Media coverage has been secured across media such as News.com.au, The Courier Mail, Active Retirees, The Daily Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, The Canberra Times, Adelaide Now, The Mercury, In The Black, The Herald Sun, The Adelaide Advertiser, ABC News 24, The Weekend Gold Coast Bulletin, Brisbane Times, Anthill, 6PR, Starts at 60, Queensland Country Life, Fifty Plus News, Fiveaa, Perth Now, Smart Company, WA Today, The Age, Women’s Agenda and a very wide range of local media.
“Over the years Home Instead Senior Care has struggled to find a PR agency that worked for us, understood our needs and the nuances of our business. Monica and the WordStorm PR team are responsive, effective and most importantly understand our business. Never before have we had so much success in getting our message in the media.”
