The bucket list of eateries and watering holes in Sydney.

Sorry we're open

There is nothing more we like doing than going out to wine & dine after a busy day at work or better yet on a relaxing weekend.

We have compiled a little bucket list of our favourite eateries and watering holes (new & old) for you to go and check out for yourself, because unfortunately words do not do the taste buds any justice.

Photos can make your mouth water, but hey, it’s not the real thing! Treat yourself, take a loved one or a Tinder date and impress the socks off them.

You can often find Monica here:

Cubby House at The Spot in Randwick – www.twitter.com/cubby_house

The Cubby House opened last year; this restaurant is a winner with delicious tapas style food and a lovely atmosphere.

You can usually find Sarah socialising in the following hubs:

Buffalo Dining Club – www.buffalodiningclub.com.au

Italian ingredients with a dose of inner-city chic.

El Loco –  merivale.com.au/elloco

A local for the girls at WordStorm as it is directly across the road from the office. You can’t beat $5 pints & $5 tacos! What more could a girl ask for?

Ananas Bar & Brasserie –  www.ananas.com.au

Located in Sydney’s iconic Rocks, Ananas serves a twist on the classic French Mediterranean food and it is also open for late night suppers. Oh, and did we say it has been awarded One Hat in the 2014 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide?

Aperitivo –   aperitivo.com.au

If you are a pizza lover you must visit Aperivito in Leichardt. That is all!

Taryn is an expert in the Surry Hills district –

El Loco – www.merivale.com.au/elloco

As we said before, it is our local

Hello Sailor – hellosailor.com.au

The décor and sailor theme alone are worth paying Hello Sailor a visit. The seafood menu is delicious but we can’t forget how good the fresh apple juice and vodkas are.

Li’l Darlin – lildarlin.com.au

On entering their website you are greeted with a song and four words. Cocktail. Wine. Tapas. Pizza. Ummm. YES!

Courtney may be a little biased when she says she loves going here:

Bootsdarling – www.facebook.com/Bootsdarling

If you are genuinely stoked when you find an establishment that serves a damn good coffee, love gourmet food and like a sense of humour on the side, visit the two young men who only recently opened Bootsdarling in Darlinghurst. I think they are onto something.

El Loco – www.merivale.com.au/elloco

You guessed it!

Hannah likes to go to Minskys – www.minskys.com.au

Get over to the North Shore. The refurbishment that Hotel Cremorne/Minskys has gone through is beautiful. The food is great as are the drinks.

On that note, do yourself a favour and watch the video on how to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew!!! Well that sure is good to know!
